Volunteer Opportunity: Dry Run (in Feb 2014) for May 2014 Expo

The Better Detroit Youth Movement and Better Baltimore Youth Movement want to host a nationwide expo in Detroit next May (2014).

Major Expo Goals:
--Provide Better Outside Perception of Detroit
--Help Transform City of Separate Neighborhoods into One Cooperating Community

Needs for Help
(1) Research: Know Your Community
(2) Provide Availability: Provide a schedule of your availability
(3) Info on MAPS Sheet (Identify YOUR PERSONAL Goals for the Expo)
(4) Identify Restaurants (City and Metro Detroit) to Participate

It will address for pillars for participant enrichment and success:

(1) Job Summit

(2) Education

(3) Community Resources

(4) Entrepreneurship

Eventually, more Volunteers will be needed, but here are the immediate needs

(a) Create Exposure (corporately, statewide, and nationwide)

(b) Identifying 18-24 year olds who might be Youth Ambassadors to Provide Tours of Detroit
