SOME SCHOLARSHIPS WILL BE AWARDED ON-SITE

Meet with admission department members of many colleges and universities to learn more about them and different scholarship opportunities that might be available for you or a college-bound student you know.

Need to bring the following items with you to the Fair:
--Copy of your SAT/ACT scores
--Multiple Copies of your Transcript
--2 Letters of Recommendation
--Typed Resume
--Completed Essay answering "Why I want to go to college"

Advice on things to do during the fair:
--Dress the part
--Give Eye Contact
--Ask Key Questions (i.e. What does your college offer someone like me? - after describing yourself)

NOTICE: Students have received over $15 Million in scholarships from the 2009 and 2010 Detroit Scholarship Fairs.  Students that bring all of the documents (listed above) will be eligible to receive scholarships from over 40+ colleges and universities.
