Job Post: Production Technician in Auburn Hills

The attached 4 types of job openings are located in Auburn Hills.  The employer is looking for Community Ventures qualified candidates which are those who live in Pontiac, Flint, Saginaw or Detroit (including Hamtramck and Highland Park) who are unemployed and have some barriers to attaining or maintaining employment.  The Community Ventures program has resources to help new hires maintain employment which in turn will help the business.  The positions are:

 

·         Production Team member

·         Quality Auditor

·         Weld Tech

·         Set Up Technician

 

Following is a description of one of the positions which is a priority:

 

We have an urgent need for a Production Technician.  This position would be for 2^nd shift and would start immediately.  Pay for this position is $18/hr + a 5% 2^nd shift premium.  Second shift hours are 3:00 – 11:30 pm.

 

We have found the most successful candidates have a maintenance or machine repair background.  The challenge with this position is that it is an active production position.  The candidate would be running our proprietary equipment which is forming tubes.  The equipment consists of 15-20 PLC controlled forming stations which need to be maintained.
