General Summary:

CDL Driver/Aide who will work with persons with developmental disabilities/special needs.

Responsibilities:

· Will safely transport consumers to and from programs, on trips in the community, to doctor visits, etc.

· Other duties as required, including working in group rooms as an Aide and floating between sites as needed

Qualifications:

· Ability to complete required trip logs on time

· One to two years of satisfactory work experience providing transportation services to individuals

· Knowledge of and experience transporting persons with developmental disabilities/special needs

· A valid Michigan Commercial Driver’s license (CDL) and a clear driving record

· Full Coverage insurance

· P (passenger) endorsement

· High School Diploma/GED

· Experience operating wheel chair lifts

· Knowledge of and experience transporting persons with developmental disabilities/special needs

· Ability to pass a drug screen
