General Summary:

A local company is seeking to hire a full time Manufacturing Engineer for their Detroit location. Salary $55- $85K.

Responsibilities:

·         Development of plant layouts

·         Aid in establishing cost controls

·         Aid in the determination of work-in-process requirements

·         The development of training programs for hourly employees

·         Maximum utilization of equipment

·         Familiarity with plant operating equipment, principles and procedures

·         Energy conservation

·         Fire safety and security provisions

·         ISO 14001 activities

·         Maintain MOST studies

·         Developing and maintaining Standard Work Instructions

·         Assist in covering maintenance supervisors

Qualifications:

·         Industrial Engineering Degree or equivalent

·         3 years of experience in industrial Engineering

·         Specialized or technical knowledge in AutoCad, spreadsheets and word processing

·         Robotics, PLC knowledge desired but not essential
