General Summary:

A school district that makes safety, security, and an orderly learning environment their number one priority is hiring Food Service Assistants for the upcoming school year.

Responsibilities:

·         Provides assistance with all dietary functions as directed, in accordance with current applicable federal, state and local guidelines, regulations and established policies and procedures

·         Assists stock/utility staff person with inventory receiving, verification, stocking and tracking

·         Communicates appropriately with all food service staff, supervisors, and other facility staff and listens effectively

Qualifications:

·         High School Diploma or GED

·         Must be available for on-call basis work to any school location

·         Proficient in English and Arabic is helpful but not required

·         Must have reliable transportation

·         Pass background check, annual physical and random drug and alcohol testing
