Job Post: Accounting/Billing Technician (Detroit Area)



Now Hiring Accounting/Billing Technician
General Summary:

Detroit Employment Solutions Corporation, a Michigan Works! Agency has partnered with a Detroit based area organization.

Responsibilities:

·         Process accounts payable which includes recording invoices and issuing disbursements
·         Review invoices for support documentation
·         Creates various reports in CMHC database system
·         Develops spreadsheet utilizing MS Excel and learn multiple billing software programs
·         Review and complete billing for all sites
Qualifications:

·         Must be able to work independently
·         Must maintain extreme confidentiality of agency information
·         Performs other related duties as assigned, including but not limited to driving
·         Proficient in MS Word, MS Excel and CMHC
·         Two (2) years accounting experience or related business experience
·         Preferred:  Billing experience in CMHC, Carenet, STARS, MH-WIN or other related medical billing
·         Preferred: Associate Degree in Accounting or related business field
·         Valid driver’s license
·         Must be able to pass background check and drug screen
