Upcoming Event: Michigan Virtual Career Fair - Wednesday, 9/28/13 @ 10AM - 4PM

Employers - Find Top Talent through MI Virtual Career Fair Sat Pure Michigan Talent Connect!

MiVirtualCareerFairs are another great Pure Michigan Talent Connect tool to help Michigan employers find key talent, and have already opened doors between 90 companies and 8000 job seekers in just seven events! MiVirtualCareerFairsare an interactive opportunity helping employers in any industry meet and recruit skilled job seekers from anywhere in the world, all within a live, 3-D, virtual environment! 

The next MI Virtual Career Fair is on Wednesday, August 28^th from 10am – 4pm, and employers interested in participating must register and purchase their virtual booth by August 16, 2013. An Exhibitor Agreement form is attached and can also be downloaded from the informational site.  

DuringMiVirtualCareerFair events, employer and job seeker participants can: 

·         Communicate via chat or webcam. 

·         Upload, view, or search for job postings or resumes. 

·         Interact with additional participants in the ‘Networking Lounge’.

·         Share informational videos in the ‘Auditorium’.

·         Follow and repost status updates to social media during the event.

It’s as easy as 1-2-3 for employers to exhibit:

1. Register by August 16^th at http://www/MiTalent.org/VirtualCareerFair and be sure to ask about discounts for participating in multiple events!

2. Design your virtual booth and displayactive job openingsby using the user-friendly “Booth Builder” before the virtual event.

3. Provide two company representatives for the entireduration of the event– 10am to 4pm – to answer job seekerquestionsand accept job applications.  You will have access to all job seeker resumes and profiles, and transcripts of your interactions, for thirty days following the event.

MiVirtualCareerFairs are also scheduled for Wednesday, September 25^th and November 13, 2013.
