Northwest Michigan Community Action Agency (NMCAA) is seeking two AmeriCorps members.
These AmeriCorps Member positions start October 3, 2013 for one (1) year (1700 hours).
The day-to-day tasks include:
intake, triage, education, marketing, and outreach efforts for tax
and/or mortgage foreclosure prevention. The position also includes
financial literacy training.
Experience
with human services, financial services, teaching, counseling or
foreclosure prevention preferred. Computer & excellent verbal and
written communication skills required.
Compensation
is $12,100 living stipend & benefits (health insurance & child
care). Upon successful completion of service hours the member will
receive a $5,550 education award.
